Resident Photographer/Digital Artist
Growing up in the beautiful rural environs of Sunbury, Pennsylvania, photographer Christi Shingara developed an appreciation for the subtle relationships between color and form. Since she moved to New York City nine years ago, her photographs — both urban landscapes and portraits — have consistently drawn acclaim.
From her studio in Williamsburg, Christi’s frequent subjects reflect her passion for music and urban culture, from striking headshots and images depicting the grittiness of Gotham, to amazingly subtle picturesque street scenes. Christi’s background in professional marketing and event planning has helped develop finely honed skills for corporate photography, generating a loyal following keeping her in high demand for photo shoots, events and new media projects.
